Know Your Rights
The Sikh Coalition provides legal assistance to Sikhs who have been discriminated against or subject to bias based upon their religious beliefs or Sikh identity. The scope of the Sikh Coalition’s expertise is limited to civil rights issues in the United States. Please note that we accept a limited number of matters based on our ability to provide a high level of quality service. We do not accept every potential legal or advocacy matter because we do not have the resources to take on the hundreds of legal requests we receive each year.
Although the Sikh Coalition cannot provide assistance in every matter, below are links to resources about civil rights problems that Sikhs may encounter.
The Know Your Rights information on this website is NOT legal advice; it is for general information purposes only, and is subject to change. We assume no responsibility for any use to which it is put. Do not rely on this information without consulting a licensed attorney knowledgeable about your specific legal issue.
