Operations Director: The Sikh Coalition is looking for an organized, business-oriented individual to manage and scale the fast-paced growth of the Coalition’s operations both in New York and California.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage and scale all Coalition operations in both New York and California.  This work includes: managing and growing our intern and local volunteers program; maintaining all city, state, and federal filings; maintaining all financial records; managing relationships with community members, vendors, and Coalition contractors. The Operations Director also should be able to effectively represent the organization at various meetings as needed with other NGOs, government, business and the media.

This is a full-time position that reports to the Executive Director and is based in New York City.

Project Coordinator: This position will work on projects in each of our three program areas: Legal, Advocacy and Education. The stipend-salary is sponsored by the AmeriCorps VISTA program and overseen by New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS). The selected candidate will be challenged and grow tremendously in their year of service. Our lower Manhattan office will be home to you gaining an understanding of civil and human rights, non-profit leadership skills and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a true impact.
