Programs

The Sikh Coalition has three core programs: 1) Legal Program; 2) Advocacy Program; and 3) Education Program.  In short, we fufill our mission through three core means --- Litigation, Advocacy, and Education ----reflected in our program areas.

Through Litigation within the Legal Program we defend the rights of those whose rights have been violated.  Through Advocacy within the Advocacy Program we advocate for rules and laws that are respectful of human and civil rights and work to ensure our community is civcally engaged.  Through Education within the Education Program we work to create an environment where Sikhs are respected and bias or prejudice is eliminated.

Campaigns

In addition to our full-time program areas, the Coalition selectively engages in a number of projects related to our mission and experience.

For these "Campaigns" the Coalition does focused work, provides resources and promotes the work of other organizations or individuals. Current Coalition campaigns include:
