October 13, 2008 - In less than 30 days, the United States will hold an historic election with record voter turnout. The mainstream media has fed America with the presidential candidates' stands on issues ranging from the economy to healthcare and the Iraq war.
But what is John McCain's stance on racial profiling? How would an Obama administration address workplace religious discrimination? Where do the candidates stand on issues particularly important to Sikh Americans?
Eight months ago, the Sikh Coalition provided questionnaires to each of the presidential candidates to learn more. Our goal is to educate voters on the candidates' positions.
