The Coalition's summer internship program allows students to further the mission and vision of the Sikh Coalition by helping to achieve legal victories, as well as educating and empowering the Sikh community. Our interns have the opportunity to gain hands on experience with a non-profit organization and will be participating in groundbreaking work for the Sikh community. Undergraduate and graduate students that apply should be hard-working, enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and dedicated to protecting and advocating for the civil and human rights of all individuals.

"I never fully appreciated the work and dedication of the Sikh Coalition staff until I worked with them as an Operations Intern. Whether it was creating an organizational intranet or lobbying members of Congress to allow Sikhs in the Army - I knew my work was benefiting the Sikh community. But most rewarding of all was seeing our efforts come to fruition and knowing I helped shape the Sikh experience for our community." - Amandeep Singh, Summer 2009 Intern
