For the sixth consecutive year, the Sikh Coalition calls on Californians to engage in Sikh Awareness and Appreciation Month. California Assembly Member Ash Kalra has introduced a resolution in the California legislature designating November 2017 as California Sikh American Awareness and Appreciation Month. The resolution recognizes “the significant contributions that Californians of Sikh heritage have made to the state.” The Sikh Coalition, in collaboration with the California Sikh community, has worked to create a list of projects that you can lead to celebrate Sikh Awareness and Appreciation Month.

Below, you will find ideas and resources to help you execute these projects in your community. If you have any questions or need further information, please email CASikhs@sikhcoalition.org.
