Internships are available in the following program areas:

Our interns are given real responsibility and have the opportunity to effect noticeable change in the Sikh community through involvement in the Coalition’s ground-breaking work.

“I am hopeful that my work this summer has, in some small way, been able to mimic the incredible dedication that characterized Dr. Bajwa’s life. I have been honored to work alongside our staff attorneys to educate both the government and private-sector employers as to the Civil Rights of Sikh men and woman who are being discriminated against.” Read more here. -Sally Hartman, Dr. Puran Singh Bajwa Legal Fellow 2010
“On Day 2 [of the Sikh Presenter’s Course], I presented a section called ‘Coordinating a Presentation’ in which I outlined the steps that need to be taken in order to communicate with a school or workplace about giving a Sikh Awareness Presentation… Among the many things I was entrusted with, preparing for and delivering this section was one of the most useful.” Read more here. – Anoop Singh, Education Intern 2010
“There is a diligent, confident, and compassionate spirit that catalyzes all work done at the Coalition, and I am proud to have helped carry the torch for its extraordinarily executed and incredibly altruistic cause as a summer intern.” Read more here. – Navjot Kaur, Education Intern 2010
