2012-July-Fremont-AB1964-testimonyJune 27, 2012 (Fremont, California) – AB1964, the Workplace Religious Freedom Act, cleared the Judiciary Committee yesterday in the California Senate. The bill will move to the Senate Appropriations Committee in the coming weeks. If enacted into law, AB1964 will sharply reduce job discrimination against Sikhs and other religious minorities in California.
