With input from the Sikh Coalition, the New York City Commission on Human Rights has created a short survey to better understand the civil rights challenges facing Sikh, Muslim, Arab, South Asian, and Jewish residents of New York City.

Click here to take the survey in English or Punjabi.

If you live in New York City, are at least 16 years old, and belong to one of these communities, we strongly encourage you to take this survey. The survey can be completed in less than five minutes, and the results are anonymous.

We believe data from this survey can be used to strengthen New York City’s civil rights laws and encourage lawmakers to better protect all city residents against hate crime, school bullying, employment discrimination, and racial profiling. This is an easy opportunity for our community’s voice to be heard.
