Casting Call June 2017June 28, 2017 (Los Angeles, CA) – As part of an effort aimed at encouraging more representation of diverse actors on network television, the Sikh Coalition joined Harness and Revolutionary Love last week for meetings with television showrunners and entertainment writers. In response, numerous primetime network shows have shown sincere interest in pursuing Sikh actors and characters on their upcoming seasons.

Do you have a professional background in acting or comedy? Are you working to secure your first big break? If that’s you, then we want to hear from you today.

We are looking for Sikh males between the ages of 20-40 to be featured this upcoming season on a primetime network television show. They are conducting casting calls in New York City around July 8th, and the episode will film in NYC in late July.

Another primetime network television show is currently hosting readings for a new role on this upcoming season, and the show is looking for Sikh actors to apply. The readings are happening in Los Angeles now through July 7th, and they are searching for adult actors and actresses of all ages to apply. A background in comedy is a plus and being a resident in Southern California is a prerequisite.

Are you what the shows are looking for? If not, do you know someone who would be a good fit?

In order to be considered, you must send us the following by Thursday, June 29th at 5pm EST:

  • Your picture
  • Relevant acting biography (if applicable)
