Looking to Next Year

Dear Supporter Ji,

Sat Sri Akal! If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, please allow me to introduce myself: My name is Harleen Singh, and this August, I joined the Sikh Coalition as the organization’s new Development Director. 

In just the few short months since I’ve been on board, I’ve seen our staff achieve major milestones in the fight against employment discrimination, take meetings at the White House and on Capitol Hill, hold workshops with sangats from Virginia to California, secure Sikhi’s inclusion in another state’s social studies standards, and more. Across all of our program areas, we’ve had a packed year of achieving results for the Sikh community.

Even now, as all of this work is continuing at a rapid pace, the calendar year is winding down—which means that it is time for us to launch our end-of-year fundraising campaign. Our collective goal this year is to raise $1.25 million, but we won’t be able to hit that goal without your investment and your action.
