Kuldeep Singh is a recognized author and speaker on Sikh and Gurmat topics throughout North America. He has published numerous articles in the journals such as The Sikh Review, Atam Rang, the Journal of Sikh Studies and Miri and Piri. He is also the founder of the Sikh Youth Federation, which he created to as a means of educating Sikh youth about their heritage. To achieve this end, the Federation has organized highly attended summer camps and retreats in the Midwest annually since 1973. Kuldeep was selected as the founding coordinator of the World Sikh Council – America Region (a representative body of Sikh Gurdwaras and related organizations) in 1996, and was nominated to serve as the Council’s founding Chairperson from 1998-2001, and again from 2003-2004.
