Nikki joined the Sikh Coalition as the Policy and Community Engagement Fellow in September 2017. She was motivated to work at the Sikh Coalition by her passion to advocate for underrepresented communities and to end hate crimes and discrimination. Before coming to the Sikh Coalition, Nikki served as an intern at the Clinton Global Initiative and worked as a Program Associate for the Human Rights Foundation where she helped to organize the annual Oslo Freedom Forum.
Prior to moving to New York, Nikki grew up in Boulder, Colorado where she received a B.A in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Nikki is currently pursuing an MPA in Public Policy and Non-profit Management at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. In her free time, Nikki enjoys travelling and immersing herself in other cultures.
