Parminder Singh, British Columbia, is the founder of three successful start-up companies that focus on the areas of multimedia, internet software development and electronics manufacturing. In addition, Parminder has held executive positions at numerous companies in both Canada and the United States, including Motorola and Microsoft. He is currently serving as the President of Intellectual Ventures Canada, where he is responsible for establishing partnerships with a network of inventors (based in start-up companies, academia, government agencies and general industry) to create commercially viable solutions in the fields of science and technology. A member of the Board of Directors of both Junior Achievement of British Columbia – a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about business – and The Digital Media and Wireless Association of British Columbia (DigiBC), he currently resides in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada with his wife, two children, two dogs, and the occasional goldfish.
