Rajdeep Singh Jolly serves as Interim Managing Director of Programs at the Sikh Coalition. In this consulting role, he is responsible for translating the organization’s vision into a cohesive programming strategy and ensuring that the Sikh Coalition’s initiatives are in line with its mission, responsive to the needs of clients, and rigorously delivered.

After serving as associate counsel for a commercial bank, Rajdeep left the private sector to pursue justice for victims of hate crimes and discrimination in the post-9/11 environment. As Senior Director of Law and Policy at the Sikh Coalition from 2010 to 2015, he led successful campaigns to expand federal hate crime tracking; secure Congressional support for religious freedom in the U.S. Armed Forces; and pass legislation in Oregon and California to protect religious minorities from employment discrimination. Rajdeep has published and been quoted extensively in newspapers and academic journals; appeared on television and radio programs; and delivered speeches and presentations at numerous universities, law schools, government offices and international conferences.

Rajdeep is the owner of R.S. Jolly Consulting LLC, an independent advocacy and communications firm based in Washington, DC. Born and raised in South Florida, he earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Miami and his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.
