Sim J Singh joined the Sikh Coalition as the National Advocacy Manager in May 2017. He was motivated to work at the Sikh Coalition to challenge the scapegoating of immigrant and minority communities by politicians in the 2016 election cycle. Prior to joining the Sikh Coalition, Sim worked on global lobbying efforts for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S.-India Business Council, and Facebook. Sim has also researched and developed technological solutions that bridge public access to the law in conjunction with Georgetown University Law Center, legal aid clinics, and The Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. These apps simplify legal issues through interview questions which generate easy to understand legal evaluations.

Prior to moving to Washington D.C., Sim worked as a Supervising Attorney at a medium sized law firm specializing in real estate law. Sim holds his Masters of Law with distinction from Georgetown University, a Juris Doctor, and a Bachelors in Management Information Science. Sim is an active member with the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, D.C. When not working or spending time with his family, Sim can be found photographing city life.
